Everything that holds a family together, and nothing more
Six parts that refer to each other: what's on the calendar also shows up for that family member; what you're eating ends up on the shopping list.
Shared calendar
One week, every family member. Each event gets a color per person, so you can see at a glance whose day is full. Add something to the calendar once, and nobody has to pass it on.
Connect your own calendar from Google or iCloud and decide per calendar what the rest of the family sees. Show work meetings as busy without sharing the details.
Reminders
Birthdays, parent-teacher meetings, a passport about to expire, the six-monthly dentist visit. You enter the date once and choose how many days ahead you want to hear about it.
The default is fourteen days, because finding out on the day itself is too late to still arrange a gift.
Task sharing
Make a list of what needs doing around the house and assign it. Chores that repeat every week can rotate automatically, so the dishwasher doesn't quietly stay with the same person.
Kids only see their own tasks. There are no points and no leaderboard — a task is either done or it isn't.
Per-person overview
Open a name and see everything going on for that person: appointments, tasks, and things you need to arrange, like gym clothes or a birthday present.
Handy on a Sunday evening, when you just want to know what the week looks like for each child.
Meal planning
These two are connected, and that's exactly why they work. Plan the week's meals, choose who's cooking each day, and add every ingredient to the shared shopping list with one tap.
If an item appears in two recipes, FamilyFocus adds up the quantities. Check off what you already have before you head out. Whoever's in the store checks items off, and everyone at home sees the cart update live.
Meals fill the shopping list
Pick what you're eating this week and the ingredients land on the shared list. Duplicate items are added together, so whoever goes shopping doesn't have to retype anything.
- Mon · pesto pasta
- Tue · lentil soup
- Wed · wraps
- Penne · 500 g

Carrots showed up in two recipes. FamilyFocus added them together.
